Has anyone been to GRAN VENTANA Hotel (Playa Dorada hotel area in Puerto Plata)?

How was the SERVICE, ROOMS, FOOD/DRINKS, POOL, ENTERTAINMENT, BEACH, NIGHTLIFE?

Did you take any TOURS, go to any DISCOS or CASINOS? Please share the Good, Bad & Ugly on these?

How was your ROOM location?

Any good TIPS or SUGGESTIONS to share?

We are going there March 8, there is plenty of information at www.debbiesdominicantravel.com, see the resort reviews, lots of positive things said to make us chose this resort.

Thanks... am familiar with Debbie's site. Had checked out reviews but was wondering if anyone had anything new since last trip report of Dec 2000.

Also, looking for more detailed info on the must sees, must dos,
must eats, must drinks plus what to avoids?

Have previously been to both Punta Cana and Sosua (DR) with minimal day but mostly night only trips to Puerto Plata discos years back.

Will you be going to discos/bars/restaurants outside Gran Ventana when there?

Will you do review/post when you return?
