Yesterday there was a free webinar, focusing on the non-touristy parts of the Dominican Republic by a British travel writer, Monty Hall. It's nice viewing for anyone like me who is missing the beautiful country and for anyone who hasn't really seen much of the non-tourist areas. There are some factual inaccuracies, but it's great that he is really showing some different sides to the country. I'm not sure how long it will be available to watch, so I'd recommend watching it sooner rather than later.
