Has anyone been to what they are calling "Greece in Puerto Plata"? Where is this? What exactly is there? Is it worth a visit?
Someone sent me some photos of it, asking if it truly existed. They were interested in going but I have never heard of it. $119.00 seems like a lot of money to go see something that is supposed to resemble a "Greek village".I google your question....Looks like an expensive tourist excursion $119/person https://www.grecialandia.com
The website shows $89 by bus, or $29 if you arrive in your own vehicle.Someone sent me some photos of it, asking if it truly existed. They were interested in going but I have never heard of it. $119.00 seems like a lot of money to go see something that is supposed to resemble a "Greek village".
You're right. Why go through all the trouble to recreate this and not serve traditional foods and snacks at a premium?Looks like it's $89 per person if taking the entire tour via bus (include 40 minutes in a rum museum, time filler?), or $29 per person if you take your own transportation to the village. Either way, you get to east some sancocho...to me, that takes away from the Greek experience![]()
Is in San Marcos, just behind of the Loma Isabel de Torres.Has anyone been to what they are calling "Greece in Puerto Plata"? Where is this? What exactly is there? Is it worth a visit?
