He’s a spectacle to watch. Dominican Hansel Emmanuel got a scholarship to play at and took the team to the championship win. He had Division-I offers from Memphis, Tennessee State and Bethune-Cookman to play in the NCAA. Reports are he selected Northwestern State in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
Nothing out of the usual for a basketball player, except…. Emmanuel is a one-armed basketball player. He lost his left arm when a wall crushed it when he was six. He learned to play basketball with one arm and slips through the air with the grace of a gazelle and the moves of a snake.
