No for a bedroom or whole house. My doctor recommended I get one for my allergies.
I got one on Amazon that I am very happy with. Less than a hundred bucks.

Not the answer to my problems. I do consume local organic honey. This one is available here in Santiago and Santo Domingo, but hoping to find something cheaper that I don't have to buy online. https://www.refricentro.com/product-details.asp?idioma=eng&id_product=595
Yeah good idea - all the shippers raised their rates. Of course their costs of fuel increased but I think their profit margins in DR are quite, if not extremely, high.
My reaction will to ship in little-to-nothing monthly going forward.
I was probably spending close to $300 in shipping monthly, but no more.

Doubt you will fine an inexpensive one other than used maybe on Ebay.

Cheapest way out is buy a smaller unit for the bedroom.
Filtering the entire house will be tough. Even then you will get airborne pollen coming on the breeze.
The pollen even sticks to your clothes so when you sleep in the same room with the clothes you wore that day its more exposure.

No one realizes how hard it is to live with allergies until they get them.
Being in Jarabacoa does not help allergies I am guessing.
There are some nice allergy free areas in the southwest with a more arid climate and less green.
You like deserts?
