Holidays for locals?

Hi everyone,

I'm planning a trip to Punta Cana and I wanted to know what time of the year the resorts are busy with local Dominican guests?

I have been searching and found that Holy week/ Semana Santa/ Easter a lot of locals are off work and head to the resorts and beaches to enjoy their holidays. Is this correct?

The 2 resorts I have been looking at are the Grand Bahia Principe Bavaro and Riu Republica. How do these compare during holy week?

I'm a single 28 year old male from Trinidad so I'm looking to have some fun, party, dance, make friends with locals and meet local women.

Come to Punta Cana any time of the year, leave the resort and you will find many local women..
All depends on your budget...
