Does anyone have any information about this hotel? Anyone Stayed there recently? I haven't seen it mentioned in the numerous threads on SD hotels, but I have an opportunity for a good deal and wanted to know if it's a good choice. Any and all info is appreciated!

Hello David,
I stayed at the Barcelo Lina back in april. I enjoyed my stay, 2 ok restaurantes, bar and casino, I enjoyed the house band that plays in the bar. Friendly and attentive staff. The Barcelo Lina is my choice for hotels when I go to Santo Domingo.

i get almost the same rate at the Renassaince Jaragua and its twice as comfortable/good. $94 plus taxes rate.
I may be able to get a room for about $50 including taxes... if I was paying rack rate I probably wouldnt consider it...
