hotel near SDQ airport?

I am flying in to SDQ the 26th of May, and I will be coming in around 10pm. I'd like to stay in a hotel close to the airport just for the first night, because I'll be getting there kind of late. I just need a place to sleep, preferably under US$30/night. Phone numbers, directions, or suggestions are appreciated. thanks, Justin

Really don't think you want to stay close to the airport. It is not a good area and there is nothing there. And security is not that good in the area. It would be in your best interests to go on into the city 30 or 40 minute taxi ride and take up your lodgings there. Just a suggestion.

Boca Chica is your best bet, 15 mins away...

and lots of cheap good hotels at $35+ per night.

It's around RD$250 (US$15) by taxi to BC from the airport.
