Hotels Iberostar Dominicana and Barcelo Bavaro Be

Hi,
We are planning a trip to the D.R. in Punta Cana. We have a choiceof two hotels all-inclusive Iberostar Dominicana and Barcelo Bavaro Beach. I have numerous ?'s. Which one is better?Food, how many restaurants, what kinds, good food etc. Golf-- included in one but what are the hidden costs, caddy, cart, clubs ? Do we need a cart? What if we bring are own clubs. Beach , Which one is closer? Activities and group games any?
We have been to Sandals in Jamiaca and Allegro inPuerto Vallarta Mexico. Liked them both. We are traveling with
14 people. Clothes, do we need dressy dresses or will sun dresses do? I know men have to wear slacks for dinner. otherwise swimsuits and shorts? What nationality are most people? We are English speaking Midwesterners from Minnesota. we like to have fun. Would we fit in? Please give me all the information you can
