We are selling our house.
The house is located in Residencial Palacia de Engombe, Santo Domingo Oeste.
On the Highway 6 de noviembre just before the tollhouse .
In Google Maps you type in Residencial Palacio de Engombe and you will immediately see in which area it is located.
It is a green area, just outside the hustle and bustle of the capital, but with all shops nearby.
The house was built in 2010, 2 floors with 4 bedrooms, 3 1/ bathrooms and 2 terraces. It is a total of 400 square meters of building.
The house has its title.
It is being sold because it is now too big for 2 people.
The house has recently been valued by a recognized valuer.

Where did you find the agrimensor?

Food for thought: I'm definitely not saying you did this, but it is very common to find an agrimensor who will nudge the value of a property up a bit to make an owner happy.

When a potential buyer is going to use a bank to finance the purchase of a property, the bank sends their own people to inspect and place a value on a property, and that evaluation is what the bank will use to determine how much they will lend.

Does the purchase of just any house for at least 200K USD now qualify for obtaining residency?

It used to be a home purchase had to qualify with CONFOTUR for legal residency. I have seen the Youtube muppets say it can be any house over 200K USD.
I suppose DR1's lawyer might know.

the agrimensor was someone from a real estate agency. Not someone from the bank.
