Lock of hair in Spanish?

I've just laminated the first locks of hair of the twins for keepsakes. I just wondered what it's called in Spanish. I doubt if it's a bloqueo, candado or cerradura

That is UNA TRENZA.
The corresponding verb form is TRENZAR (regular).

Your pic is not of a lock. It's a braid. A trenza, as you correctly note.

A lock is a tiny curl of several strands of hair, often retained as a keepsake. As in the OP, or in the case of one lover to another.

pollo;

Trensitas is when the hair is in a trenza, ricitos is when hair is naturally curly, so both definitions are correct.

further, when you say goldi locks is referring to a lock of hair, may be pressed in a trenzita, i think that term started with Sheryl Temple, she had her hair in curly trenzas.

Pollina - fringe (GB)/bangs (US) (flequillo in Spain)

Google "Goldilocks in Spanish" and you get "Rizitos de oro" and "Cabello de oro".

"Un mech?n de pelo". By the way, I've also heard "un cachito de pelo" on a couple of songs; I think they were mexican songs.
