I returned yesterday from three weeks of travelling around the Dominican Republic cheaply (local transport, street food, cheap hotels, and staying as far as humanly possible away from the all inclusive resorts).

Where did you stay in Samana?

We stayed at Las Terrenas - beautiful beach. There are many hotels right on the beach there. We stayed at Dinny's, which is on the beach and in the center of town. (RD$275)
