we need a forum that doesn't cater to tourist and business interests. Is there such a one? My main work is in the field of anthropology, and I have had a very hard time getting anthropological stuff. My question asking for anthropological info got deleted last week. I guess people have thought that my main interest was in history, or religion, but it is actually in anthropology, though one has to understand the history of a culture to understand its present, and religion is a part of ones culture. I have been studying the people in the DR, and the people associated with the DR. I have discovered some subcultures, but am mainly interested in the indigenous people and criollas who have been there a long time. I have discovered some attitudes aabaout them, but would really like to contact some Dominican anthropologists, since the information I need now is not available on this board. Can anyone refer me to any Dominican anthropologists?
