Great Aircraft.

I was fortunate to travel on one that belonged to Iberia several months ago from Santo Domingo. We stopped in Puerto Rico, and then re-boarded and off we were.

I flew on Business class and let me tell you the service was excellent. I had so many meals I could not keep track. Not only that but I was drunk as well because they offered so much wine!

But anyway, we are talking about the plane... Very spacious.... Coach did not look that bad, and business was amazing.... Nice big cozy reclining seats. Each one had their SWING-ARM lcd tv screen. although not much was on. (not like Jet Blue and their Direct tv.) I took a peak at First class, and boy.. thats the way to travel... Full sleeper seats with your personal swing lamps and screens..... It was just out of this world.

Just to sum it up... I thought it was perfect. I prefer the A340 over the 777. But that is just me. Then again this is maybe due to the fact that I love 4 engine planes like the Dc8-73, 707, and 747.

I did

I used A340-600 of Virgin Atlantic, it is huge, a long plane, but I don't see a huge difference from A340-300, I mean inside and comfort.

IB already used A346 on SDQ MAD routes

SDQMAD

Iberia fly with B747-200B and A340-300X on this route and they will continue flying with the A340-300X but the systems say only A340 so all series. It will fly from 26 August they first flight

So when i arrive at Santo Domingo (Martinair MP603 on tuesday 26th at 4:05PM) i will see the Iberia A346 and when i return at 23 September to Amsterdam

Im happy that Iberia has changed the B747 for A340 also the A346 is too long i see better daily direct flights on A340-300 then what they offer via San Juan.
