IBEROSTAR HACIENDA DOMINICUS IN BAYAHIBE

Hey everyone,

Anyone planning to go to this hotel? I think its opening sometime in October. I haven't found a lot of info about this particular hotel.

I have not been to Bayahibe in 14 years, but as I recall the beach and area in general is beautiful. Good luck.

I stayed at the Iberostar Paraiso in Cancun back in July and this was an absolutely beautiful resort. I'm planning a trip to the DR in December and would like to perhaps stay at an Iberostar when I arrive. Where is Bayahibe? Is it close to Puerta Plata?

Puerto Plata is on the North Coast of the DR. There is an Iberostar there, the Iberostar Costa Dorada.

Bayahibe is in the south, roughly midway between Santo Domingo and Punta Cana. The closest airport is LaRomana.

It may be open in October. I was by there in July and it did not appear that it would be completed by Oct. But, construction times in the DR can sometimes be very fast, so it would not surprize me if it was ready. The whole area has great beaches!
