I will be taking my family-wife,2 girls age 6 and 10, and son age 14-to the Coral Canoa Resort in Bayahibe on April 20. I am looking for any information that I can get on this resort-food, kids activities, nightlife,tours to do, tours not to do.... Any help that I can get would be greatly appreciated. If anyone has any pictures they could e-mail me that would be great. Are there any special things that I need to bring? Thanks for all your help.

Bring lots of bug spray - we went at the end of November and the bugs were really bad - might not be the case for you. Also in the dining room - pick tables away from shrubs - again bugs.

Bring any basics that you may need - prices in the hotel store are expensive.

Tours :
The all day Bavaro Safari Tour - wouldn't recommend.
Crazy Wheels - fantastic.

Food - ok
Reserved dining - book early in week.
