Info on casino & gym at the Iberostar Bavaro

In the travel section of our Sunday newspaper, it is listed that there is a new casino & gym on the beach of the Iberaostar Bavaro. I know that quite often something planned is advertised as completed and when you get there constuction is still taking place.
Is the casion and the gym completed? If so, were palapa's removed for the new facilities? Can the facilities be used by all 3 Iberostar properties? I would assume that the casino is for all, but how about the gym?

We stayed at the Iberostar Dominicana but the gym was between the Dominicana and Bavaro...very close to the beach at the end of a row of "stores"...on the second level of the last building before the beach....just a walkway then the sand....so no palapas seemed to be removed. The only casino I saw was in the lobby of the Dominicana...not on the beach...but very nice and only moderately busy. Unless the Bavaro has built something I didn't see (that could happen because of the enormous size of this resort), these were the only gym and casino there. Both very nice. We used both facilities so I think all three properties can use them. If you go to the Iberostar Bavaro, I can safely predict you'll have a wonderful time....a great resort!!

Thanks so much for the info. I know we will have a great, fat, relaxing time. This is our second trip.Can't wait to get away from the Cleveland cold weather.
