Is the massive Metaldom facility on the malecon in SD still there, or has it been demolished? Have any plans for the land been made public? I remember when it was in the middle of nowhere.

Still there. That area was supposed to be converted to a park or something.

When it was all by itself back then there was no Nunez de Caceres, remember?

Whatever happened to them being bought by Estrella?

A park?? That land must be worth a fortune, I thought for sure it would be high rise/residential with sea views.

Yep, no Nunez de Caceres, no Kennedy. Nothing much past the Feria Ganadera.
