One who might be able to put you in the right direction is Miquel Costa.
He is of the family that runs the Amber Museum.
They have many connections with local mines and also people/companies dealing with amber in different ways.
Miguel speaks Spanish, ENglish and Italian.

I would be careful. Aside from everything else has any one gone to the Amber Museum ? How any one of good conscience could even attempt to sell that stuff for those prices should make one say HUMMMM!

If you read my post, I did not tell the OP to go to their shop and buy jewellery. I suggested the OP to contact them, as they have long term relations with everything from miners to people working with amber, as well as people in the scientic part of amber.
The OP asked about amber, not about a shop, so your comment seem a little bit out of line.

I read the report. Again, if they ( read he. Since he is the owner and sets the standard ) can ry that pricing structure on the unsuspecting public I would be very, very careful.
The op may be better served to rent a geologist with some etymology experience and going to the mines directly.
However my response was only to defend himself from a vendor which represents the DR and charges outragious prices.
