It would be nice if Jetblue went direct from FLL to STI or MIA to STI even better!
I wonder why Jetblue doesnt fly FLL to STI? Would they have to buy the route?

Found ONE in Sept for $259.. but this seems to be mostly a GIMMICK price ,imo.. seems to be a LOT of Collusion among the Airlines lately..
the prices are higher than ever before from what I can see for mid summer OFF season..

Trust me, all flights from DR to whatever, it's always high becuase of DR tax, it rips you off

Im very much aware of that, but in prev years we have seen $340 prices (total RT ).. these prices are no where near that. not even $400, with a " come on price" of $99...
Some people may get sucked into buying these tickets, and then at check in Jet Blue delights in telling you that you are NOT getting on that plane without a Return Leg ticket, which they will then gladly sell you for the highest possible price.

This price is VERY good for a Resident of DR though, BUY a Refundable Return and cancel it immediately when you land..

I have played this game with Jet Blue, they wont fool me anymore.

Would be nice if United matched that to EWR.

I am not sure if this was posted here before, but JetBlue also has flights between EWR and STI

Santiago (STI) to Newark (EWR) ? Tue, Sep 15

JetBlue 894 Dep: 1:12 pm Arr: 5:03 pm 3h 51m Airbus A320

As to round trip fares. US$ 331 with all taxes included - JFK-STI-EWR or US$ 3 more JFK-STI-JFK.

The 99 dollars into STI is not a gimmick. And it includes taxes.
Lots of empty seats going to RD in late August and packed planes coming back in late August from the end of the summer holidays.
Supply and demand.
If you can fly back to the US in later September you'll have a well priced round trip.

It's a smelly red herring to get you to their site. In addition to the higher return cost, there are precious few $99 flights. I checked some dates in October. All of the flights to Santiago each day were $236 one way plus tax, except for a single one leaving JFK at 9 p.m., with a scheduled arrival at 12:45 a.m.

I am presently working on buying a "return" via the Ferry to San Juan PR. Knew a guy who claimed he did it every time. And even if one doesn't get it canceled it is way below the price of any jet back to Nuevo York.
Too expensive and too long. You be better off looking into the American Eagle commuter plane from SDQ to SJU.
