La Romano Airport(LRM) Food/Beverage Facilities

Can anyone tell me what is available at this new airport concerning food and beverages. It's a long bus ride to Punta Cana from LRM and hopefully there is some one selling beer,etc at or outside the airport.Thank you, Gary

you're flying to LRM and driving to P.C.?

Did you find a good deal to LRM? I'm sure there's a counter for jamon y quesos and presidentes at the new airport. If not, make you driver stop a roadhouse on the drive up. You wont have to twist arms too hard, I'm sure.

We flew into La Romana airport in the middle of January out of Winnipeg. Its very new and small but you can get beer and some munchies there(limitted to chips and some sub sandwiches)near the departure lounge. It is very expensive. While waiting to depart we bought two medium size bags of Dorritos and two presidente beers for $20.00 canadian!I did not see where to get beer and snacks on arrival but there were a couple people on our bus who found beer somewhere. You may have some luck asking the bus driver to stop on the drive to Punta Cana.Our bus did not stop but friends of ours who came the following week had a stop for bathroom breaks and beers. When we were there the duty free shopping area at the airport was not open so don't rely on it. Have a great trip.
