Las Terrenas - need information

Hi, I am leaving in about 2 days to fly into Santo Domingo and then will attempt to catch a flight out to Portillo to check out Las Terrenas. Does anyone have information about airlines, airfares and schedules? I cannot seem to find anything.

I am looking for a fairly cheap fare flying to Portillo on Thursday and returning on Monday. I also want to find out about cheap and cool places to stay in las Terrenas. A friend told me this area is a great place to go as it is not too resort-ish. I am interested in scuba diving as well - any suggestions?
