They aren't on websites. You have to contact a realtor in Jarabacoa to find them.

Unfortunately, they are almost 10 miles from the town of Jarabacoa.

Thanks a lot BPL888 but as Cobraboy said, it's a little too far from the town to go out to the restaurants, etc etc...

the owners, agents and realtors in Jarabacoa haven't caught up to the digital world, and many of the non-Dominicans in the business can't be trusted and they put properties they don't have in their portfolio to attract attention. PLUS they overprice properties so if/when a sucker bites they go tothe owner with an offer he can't refuse.

Just be aware. MOST villas and cabanas in Jarabacoa aren't listed online.

Amu, try to make it up to the restaurant in Jamaca de Dios, it's called [if I remember correctly] Aroma de la Montana. Decent prices, AMAZING views of Jarabacoa, definitely worth the trip.

seems like it would be a great business for someone to do that, no? A service to Jarabacoa and a way for the rest of us to come up there and appreciate the place. Of course, I can understand if you want to keep it your little secret.. But there is a bizness there

MA, I have three businesses right now, and am looking at a 4th and maybe a 5th.

I have no time.

But if I found someone who has the time, dedication and a small amount of capital (only those with something at stake take a business seriously) I'd go into it with them and lead them in the right direction.

Of course, it's called "Vista del Valle", has a pool with a Jacuzzi, a big gazebo with gret views, etc etc.....i have no info on rates since my sister is the one with the credit card, haha, but i do know the name of the owner, a very gentle guy by the way, Arturo Rodriguez.. 809-880-0970

Thanks for your quick response! last couple of questions. is it close the the 'attractions', ie. easy to navigate to various sites if i'm renting a car?..lol. and also, seeing that my extent of spanish language skills end at knowing my numbers, should I get a friend to call Arturo on my behalf, or is his english sufficient enough to answer some of my questions.?

all in all, would you go again? would you consider it a nice place for a romantic weekend away?

Thanks again for your response.
have a great day.

No problem at all fcd...well, it's about 6 kms from "dowtown", with a car it'll be easy for you to navigate anywhere you want since Jarabacoa is not that big..about calling Arturo, i don't know if he speaks english since we're dominicans...and the scenery from the gazebo is amazing, pretty romantic...
