Mail/Post Office in San Pedro

Hi all,
I need to send a document to the Canadian Embassy in Santo Domingo. Courier (San Martin I think) in San Pedro tells my husband that it will take 1 month to send the document via mail from San Pedro to Santo Domingo. What in the world????? It only takes 3 days to send me anything FedEx here to Canada. My question is...does anyone know of a post office or courier there in San Pedro that can and will send documents via mail, registered to Santo Domingo any sooner than that?

If I understand you, you need to send something from San Pedro de Macoris to Santo Domingo??

Use Dominican Watchman,,,they have a courier service, same day or next day.

Lady, who the heck did you marry that would not know that/???????



sheesh, it just gets worse, I don't know whywe even try...

You can send packages via Metro Pack from San Pedro: Metro Servicios Turisticos but this may not work for you since the receiver in Santo Domingo would have to go pick up the parcel.

Maybe if you have a contact in Santo Domingo, they can pick up the parcel at Metro Pack and take it to the Canadian Embassy, which is just up Churchill from Metro Pac in Acropolis Mall.
