Merengue night and the Mets

I am heading to shea stadium tonight to watch the Mets, drink large quantities of beer, eat way too much, and check out all the Mamis there for Merengue night. Probably in reverse order. Sergio Vargas, Milly and Rubby Perez do a concert after the game. I am such a CHOPO since I dig Milly and Ruby. I should know that Tulile was the future of Merengue;-)

Lucky dog! I had to stay in NY Thursday night, because of the bad weather (flights cancelled) and I was listening to the promotion of this event. It sounded like it would have been an awsome party to go to, but unfortunately I had to go back to Detroit the next day. Hope you have fun...

it was fun

I went to Shea stadium for Merengue night on saturday and it was a lot of fun, Ruby Perez and Sergio Vargas were great, Milly didn't quite performed as well as I thought she could have!!

But all in all, it was a night to show your Dominican pride, except for the gangsters that were there, which I thought ruined the atmosphere a little, but anyway, what are Dominicans doing pretending to be this way. We are good people, not at all like that, so please let Americanization aside and be yourself.
