Mid-January Weather

I will be arriving at the Bavaro beeech resort Punta-Cana mid January for a 2 weeks. Our holiday brochure says temps will be in the 80's ,is this true or hyped,I would appreciate comments from past visitors at this time of year.

Andrew we are going for 2 weeks Jan 8. Last year the weather was perfect. Always a breeze. I really like Jan. weather there. We are staying at the Flamenco Bavaro in Punta Cana. See you on the beach.

This is true. There may be some mid-day temperature in the low 90s, and expect some evenings and early mornings when the temperature drops to the 70s. Thus, bring summer clothes, but bring a light jacket and a light sweater. Punta Cana weather is also windy in the winter.
