Minister of Industry & Commerce visits Bon Ice Cream manufacturing plant

Industry & Commerce Minister Victor (Ito) Bisonó visited the headquarters of Bon Ice Cream in Herrera Industrial Zone. Bon is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. The general manager of Helados Bon, Luis Fernando Enciso, highlighted the plans to expand the company’s operations in his explanations to the Minister of Industry & Commerce.

During the meeting, Enciso explained that the company produces 11.5 million kilograms of ice cream per year, has an average of 12.5 million annual transactions, provides 305 direct employees and more than 1,600 indirect employees. The 320 Bon ice cream parlors received about 35 million visits of customers last year.

The company projects sales to grow 20% in 2022.

Call me crazy but we're pretty big fans... The kids love them with sprinkels and me and my wife as well... I suppose all the people who join the long lines would probably agree with me... All their stores we visit are always packed with customers...

EDIT: their pricing has however increased quite a bit... One negative point for them...
