My Duck lost its Leg

I have been entertaining a guest from out of town and suggested a roast duckling for dinner.

The Playero in Sosua usually has decent ducks that don't give a cluck but the ones they are selling now reads " Missing Parts" .

I think I am getting a deal for not having to pay for organs I won't need.

I defrost in the fridge for 2 days and open the package to discover a duck with a missing leg!

I am wondering how this could happen!

Cock fighting is well documented and I am wondering if they are starting to throw ducks into the ring!

Some one locally sells real ducks so that's what i am looking for.

Any Comments?

Ducks sometimes loose their limbs because of dogs, remember this one male duck on the island I lived in Panama who lost a leg and an eye because of a dog. He survived and became the toughest duck on the island!!!
Maybe the one you bought the seller had a part of it for his lunch;)

The stores freezer was full of them all labeled with missing parts so i don't know where they came from or how they were deformed.

Even the breat meat was about 1/3 of a normal bird.

Won't buy those again and will wait for a real bird.

And to Catcher " I was very medicated after the Cowboys loss'

But the duck still sucked!

I love to see the Cowboys lose. It makes me happy. I don't know how to explain the feeling. It makes my heart feel good, it puts a jump in my step, it makes a rainy day sunny, it makes me hum a tune and giggle.

We had one of those too! We also saw that it said 'parts missing' but didn't expect that to mean a leg! Perhaps there is a separate market for duck legs somewhere....

dumb joke time...

a guy drives past a farm, and sees a 3-legged pig... he becomes very curious, and as he sees the farmer he stops for an explanation...

So, how comes this pig has only 3 legs? Well, said the farmer, one night our farm caught fire, this pig saw it, broke down our door, ran up the stairs and started banging our bedroom door, it woke us up and me and the misses escaped unharmed...

Wow... said the guy... so I suppose in doing so she burned that leg so bad it had to be amputated???... Hell no... said the farmer... the pig was just fine...

So, how did she lose her leg then??? Well... the farmer said... one day I was driving my tractor down the field, hit a hole and the tractor toppled over with me underneath it... if it wasn't for this pig screaming... my wife would not have known this, and I would have died...

Ah... I suppose the pig lost its leg because of the tractor.... Hell, no... pig was in the field a couple of hundred yards away....

But, how in god's name did the pig lose its limb?????...

Well, a great pig like that... would you eat that all at one time????

I know, dumb joke, but it seemed to fit the topic... lol

I couldn't resist. Their parts are also missing in Santo Domingo.
