Then if you are in Punta Cana you just have two options, make a call from your hotel room and pay the very, very exorbitant rate per minute that they have (1,1 USD/min to USA, 3 USD/min Europe), or the smarter way, rent a phone.
We have the only rent-a-phone service of Punta Cana and Bavaro, you just reserve your phone by e-mail, and we will deliver de phone at your hotel, and we take it back when your contract is over. We will give you the lowest rates possible for Long Calls, (the home official telephone rates from Dominican Republic), other rent-a-phone services like Codetel and Tricom charge you extras on the rates, for example, the lowest minute for the local call is about 1 US$ and for long calls they apply a plus over this dollar, we give you 33 cents/minute for a call to USA. They charge you the same rate for incoming calls, we don?t, the rent you the phone for 2 USD/day and you have to open a credit card deposit of 500 US$ like guaranty, and they do not have offices in Punta Cana, you will have rent it on the Santo Domingo Airport. We rent you the phone for 5 USD/day, we give your the lowest rates for your calls:
USA 40 cents/min Canada 66 cents/min Europe 1 US$/min
If you take a calculator you will know that the first phone call to your family at your arrive at the hotel will last at least 10 minutes, if you call from the hotel to:
Europe, the phone call will cost (10 min. X 3 USD (hotel rate) ) 30 USD USA the phone call will cost (10 min. X 1 USD (hotel rate) ) 10 USD
If you call from one of our phones
Europe, the phone call will cost (10 min. X 1 USD) 10 USD USA the phone call will cost (10 min. X 0.3USD) 3 USD
