Paradise it is named appropriately
I have only stayed there one time, but is the cadillac of resorts. The food is buffest style for breafast all the time, but the spread is incredible, absolutely. Lunch offers you two choices, buffet style or a quick snack of pizze and burgers, and fries at the beach. Food is available for hours at a time. Dinner you can again do buffet or you can book in the morning to dine at their MIchaelengo's restaurant on site, an italien style restuarant with a domincan flavour, quite enjoyable, also you have the choice of a seas side grill with just as an enjoyable menu. So the food is great. The drinks, well you have a wide choice and the bar is open at the beach until 2 am. Emilo will look after you there.
The shows are somewhat repetitive, but are very well done. The pool is large and the only down fall is that the swim up bar is always in the shade. It is located right on the beach and the gardens create a quite picturesque setting.
The rooms are all inclusive rooms, which means you should spend most of your time out of them. They are clean and bright, do not upgrade to a suite. It is a two level room divided by a tiny tiny spiral stair case. Not too great. The middle level of room has a bed room with a sitting area and a balcony. Quite nice. The staff that work there are among the best, they are polite helpful and give you that warm dr feeling. The activity are not so, but they give a good show. Paradise is located close to the complex's mall, and that has more to offer.
Anyways I have written enough. If you want more info you can email me personally. I had a good time at Paradise, and the money was worth it, it is a mature crowd with lots a kids, at least it was at Christmas and New Year's last year.
