Need info on pension or guesthouse

Hi, I will be moving to Santo Domingo next week and need ASAP to find a decent pension or guesthouse where I can stay while finding a permanent dwelling...any good neighborhood would be OK as long as it's SAFE and has at least one ceiling fan.... Any suggestins?

I would contact the owner of this guest house directly. Explain your situation and I am sure that he will give you a good deal. I know him well and he is a well known and respected professional man in Santo Domingo. Safety is a priority with his location.

Try this place, Dominico Mundial.
He usually has a room.
there is also another place in Colonial Zone on Isabel la Catolica but it doesn't have a name. They rent long term also. If you need info about this place you can contact me directly and I can check for you if they have a room.
