New Ferry Service to Puerto Rico
A guy who used to work with me started Ferries del Caribe. With all of the planning he did to determine if a ferry between the DR and PR, he didn't expect the cargo part of it to be of any consequence.
He ended up with a RO-RO cruise ship almost by accident.
Once the word got out, he could have gotten two more and filled them.
For many years, you could send a trailer on FDC and have it arrive faster than air cargo.
You can guess how much he's worth these days.
I can't wait to see how these folks do.

I found this IG post seems same company and they have routes all over
I wonder if they'll use the same type of boat for PR-DR?
Ferries del Caribe uses a much larger ship which gives them the cargo carrying capacity.
What would be nice is if you could take dogs on the ferries to PR. Then you might not have to go odd airline routes to get them to the US
