New books on Amazon are usually hard cover only, not paperback, not used, $25 usd plus, like Aid State by Jake Johnson few weeks ago. Bought used 900 page, 2010 paperback on Amazon this year, just $1.50 usd (Ken Follett).

I just finished this book today, loved it. I hovered between 4 or 5 stars on Goodreads, 5 won out.

SPOILER ALERT: those of you who read it…….did you assume that Tatica in the old age home in Higuey was Perla’s and Filomena’s mother?
