Nightlife in Santo Domingo

I am visiting Santo Domingo April 1 to 4. I have been informed that hotels have less restrictions. Is there any place like Merengue bar in Jaragua hotel open at night time? Thank you!

According to my friends who live in SD.... hotels & resorts have no curfew. The local bars n stuff are open until like 7. Everyone just day drinks to be home early. There of course are " clandestine" hidden parties but you gotta ask around for those . 😉

Merengue bar in Jaragua will not be open. The casino is open until the curfew kicks in maybe an hour earlier.
