Nissan Serena Vans-Only OK for taxi's?

The new Nissan Serena Mini-Van is seen everywhere as a taxi. I was told you can not purchase these vehicles for import. That the taxi association imports them from Spain and that they are the only people allowed to do so. If that be the case, how does one become a member of the taxi association?

Have you asked at Santo Domingo Motors??

They are the import franchise for all Nissan products...Check them out...
