Obtaining a Tour Operator License

Not much info from previous post on this one. I thought I'd check and see if anyone on the board knows anyone, or has themselves obtained a tour operators license and what "hoops" then had to jump through to get it. I have a business partner who will be possibly working towards getting a license, depending of course on info gained and thorough research. We've just started searching for all the relevant info. I appreciate any input anyone has on the subject.

Not many hoops, really. Any Ministry of Tourism Office around the country has info all printed, ready to go.

Question

Points of interest for us are things such as:

Taxes and possible advantages of using Tourism tax incentives.
Commissions paid.
List of what exactly you can do business wise with the license.
Number and types of vehicles along with insurance/liability requirements.
Hiring Tour Guides and your requirements as an employer or obtaining license.

These were just a few of the type things we were sitting here discussing.
