Ocean World - 31st December 2007

Does anyone know, if Ocean World offers something special for the New Years Day?? or what has been offered last year??
I will be there for vacation during the Christmas holidays, but will no stay in a hotel, so I thought, it?s a nice place to pass the 31st?

Ocean World Marina and Casino will have special events New Years Eve, however, the details have not been decided. Most likely, a special package with live band, dinner, and fireworks. Also a DJ in the LightHouse Lounge upstairs late.

Ocean World Adventure Park will operate New Years Eve and New Years Day as normal.

Any news, what will be going on the 31st of december in Puerto Plata except in the hotels?? Has Ocean World a special dinner package??

Poseidon Restaurant at Ocean World will be open as normal, we will not do a dinner package is this did not sell well last year.

however, we will have an after midnight party at the Lighthouse Lounge (4th floor of casino building) with all-you-can-drink liquor, champagne, fireworks at 2am, Sancocho and snacks, and DJ's.

The first sunrise of 2008 from the 4th floor of this building will be spectacular.

I don't have price for this yet, but will post it as soon as I get it.

Yes.. please let me know.. I spent the last years the 31st in Hacienda.. at the VIP World, what is really great and I love it.. but after 2.00a.m., the tourists normally already go to bed.. and the Light House Lounge is a great alternative to Playa Dorada.

Is the disco now opened all week long?? I remember in summer, there was the absoulte vodka friday.. and saturday it was opened.

I know, that Conchman (Stefan) is the General Manager. I was working in the Puerto Plata area and also for a company, that is very close connected to Ocean World, but at the moment I?m out of the country...
