My wife and I went to La Sirena this morning. Very few people inside.
It was around 9:30AM. When we left, there was a large crowd outside
waiting to get in. As one person left another person entered.
Both telephone counters were closed. Drove past Claro's
main office and there was a long line outside. Also, Jose Luis both
stores parking lots were full and again, long line outside waiting to get in.
Also, Popular bank had a long line outside and only
letting in a very few people at a time. I really don't want to go to
Claro's main office to pay my bill. Does any one have a detailed,
step by step process to pay your phone bill online?

Download the app MiClaro for Andoid/Iphone. Register your Credit Card and then you have to contact your credit card issuer (same number as if you lost it in my case) to get a 4 digit code. Enter the code and voila...

If you have a Banco Popular account you can use TPAGO to pay a lot of bills like electricity, phone, water, etc

One more suggestion for paying Claro - if you are able to bank online with Popular, you can pay Claro (and several other bills) online. Once online with Popular, click on Pagos, then Servicios y Facturas, then select Comunicacion, then Adicionar Factura. After that it should be pretty easy, put in your phone number to access that bill, etc. Other banks probably have similar, if you bank with someone else.

That is what I do.

Same here. it depends on what I'm paying.

Popular also has a very good app for banking.

Three different options. BPD website, BPD mobile app, and TPAGO.
