I need the address and phone number of a REPUTABLE dealer/service establishment in Santo Domingo that can repair Panasonic combination 50 + 1 CD players and dual tape deck with Am/FM radio. Reputable is the KEY word here. I took my computer to have the crashed hard disk replaced with a warranty disk from the US only to find that when I sent the disk back to the company they said they did not even carry such a brand! This is one of the TOP THREE computer stores on the island. You want more?.I took my fax machine to be repaired and after three days was told it had to be repaired in the USA. Took it to the authorized service center and in front of me showed me that the entire operating machinery HAD BEEN REMOVED. I was told it would be cheaper to REPLACE THE MACHINE rather than try to fix it. I purchased a computer scanner and got it home and it was defective. I returned the machine FIVE TIMES before they finally admitted their merchandise was defective and they gave me a new one when I threatened to call the manufacturing company and complain. And finally, I took a piece of Sony equipment to be repaired at the "AUTHORIZED" SONY repair center. When it was not repaired, I called SONY in New Jersey only to be told they DO NOT HAVE AN AUTHORIZED SONY SERVICE CENTER N THE ENTIRE ISLAND. Are there any honest, reputable, business men in this island? What happened to customer SERVICE. What happened to honest business practices? Now, back to the original question?..a reputable Panasonic dealer to fix my instrument. Any one know of such a person? THANK YOU!
