Paraiso del Sol (All Inclusive) Resort

Hi. My husband, 4-year old son and myself are visiting the DR for the first time. We're staying at the Paraiso del Sol all inclusive resort just outside of Cabarete. The only person I know who's been there is "Debbie" from the "famous website".

My wife and I stayed at the Camino del Sol in Dec 1998. The Paraiso del Sol is on the same grounds. The target tourists were European at that time, and we were only one of 2 from North America. We had a great time, the facilities are spotless, the staff were friendly, and the all-inclusive was just that (we simply had no extra charges). There was nothing said to discourage going out into the towns. If I sound like a fan of the place, I am. We are returning Jan 17 for 10 days. We had trouble finding information on the Canmino del Sol before we went also. I hope this helps, and if you have any questions please ask or e-mail us.
