My best friend for 12 years, Inteliperra, passed 2 weeks ago. I adopted her from a friend that took her of the street when she was 1 1/2 years old. She went everywhere with me. She also helped me pick out my other dog Buenagente, who misses her awfully, just as I do.

Anyhow, I shared before about a Parque del Prados Pet Cemetery. A few people asked me about the place. Here is my review after using their services for the cremation of Inteliperra.

When Teli told me she did not want to suffer any longer, she told me with her eyes. I knew the dreaded time was here. I had been making payments to the Pet Cemetery monthly because the cost (2 large dogs cremated RD$35,820) was a bit high to pay all at once. After the Vet was in my house, before he did the forever sleep injection, I contacted the agent from Parque del Prados to tell him I needed the van to pick up Teli. They sent me a form to update the information. I held my best friend as she passed on my sofa. It was a heartbreaking moment but I had to do it. Within an hour the van was here to get Inteliperras body. The man carefully bagged her, carried her out and put her into the van. About 4 days later they called me and told me that they would be at my house soon to return the ashes.

I recommend this service if you do not have a place to bury your pet. They do cremation and also have a cemetery for burial if you wish.

Inteliperra returned home. Buenagente was sad.
