Pittsburgh to PuntaCana in May

My family and I are traveling to Punta Cana in May, from Pittsburgh, Pa. We were hoping to communicate with others also traveling from the area. Or, just others that will be there at that time. We are staying at the Barcelo Bavaro Beach resort, in mid May. Also any info on the resort, that's not in the reviews, would be greatly appreciated.

My wife and I are going to the same place with a group of 9 in March, 21-28. Remind me to let you know how it went. This is a first for us to the DR, and all I've heard was pretty good! I'm looking forward to the trip, weather, fun things to do! I'll let you know how it goes.
