Hello all.

Just wondering how much often do you have to hose your pool to keep the water top ? I am wondering as I need to add water every 5-7 days to it and I am hesitant to think this is due to evaporation and/or wind. I am currently living in the Arroyo Hondo area in Santo Domingo. Have not done bucket test, but did a simple dye test the other day and found no issues.

Do you add water to your pool on a normal basis ?

Regards

On average, you'll lose ¼ inch a day to evaporation. If you have a constant breeze, such as beach front on the North Coast, it can be as much as ½ inch a day.

Very good figures Bob. Adding water this pm, and about every other day due to heat and wind that blows out water at the waterfall end of our infinity pool.
