There's the catch right there - finding a good pica pollo. Not many of those around. They do have good chicken but overall I prefer a good pica polla.
Their hot wings are fantastic. Can't get those at pica polla
As long as you are not from Spain ...Some days auto correct is not my friend. Or perhaps maybe my spelling sucks

You won't see franchises like these opening in the North Coast. They will, and only will be located where high foot traffic, year round and recurring spenders will be: Aka Santiago, Santo Domingo, San Francisco or Punta Cana. The North Coast is seasonal, low traffic and with not so much recurring spenders. If they opened one in Sosua they would have 50% of the current tourists lining up
You may be right , And not even near the Cruise Ships as they control that little Pretend Village pretty tightly ..You won't see franchises like these opening in the North Coast. Well they have opened several chains in Puerto Plata. Burger King, McDonalds, Dominos Pizza - so it will happen, it's only a matter of time and these chains doing research. You won't see franchises like these opening in the North Coast. For sure, their R&D teams are amazing. Had the chance to meet the team behind the Corripio owned ones (Krispy, BK, Papa Johns). But you won't see Wendy's or Popeye's or even a Starbucks in the North.Well they have opened several chains in Puerto Plata. No they won't be in Nagua or Sabaneta de Yasica but eventually there will be leaders who realize 55,000 people is enough to support certain stores in Sosua
I think Puerto Plata to Cabarete has an equal average family wealth (maybe higher) than Santiago, just a whole lot smaller population and further from the capital. For sure, their R&D teams are amazing. There's more chance to see in the next 12-24 months a Little Caesars in POP thanks for their strong approach to low prices and targeted to low income young families (that's their secret sauce formula that has been working in Santiago so far). But again, the seasonal area which is Puerto Plata as whole province, makes reconsider plans of those big franchises.
Standards and also, recurring not seasonal revenue.I think Puerto Plata to Cabarete has an equal average family wealth (maybe higher) than Santiago, just a whole lot smaller population and further from the capital.
So those R&D teams will likely find themselves doing well with chain fast foods - if they can maintain standards (and that's the question)
