Public Beaches?

Well, these are the photos of a regular public beach in Antigua. I took them myself. Just a beach near the road, no hotels, no resorts. No garbage, no vendors, no shltty music, no annoying people. Absolutely safe. You can just park your car and enjoy the beach. You can leave your belongings on the beach, and nobody will steal them while you are swimming. The water is clean, no big waves. Now tell me where I can find something like that in DR. And if you want to see how a really good beach in front of a resort should look, google Jolly Beach in Antigua.

Isn't this thread about beaches in the DR?
Yep. Tell me where in DR I can find at least one public beach like that. With the water and sand clean like that, right near the road, with no garbage, where you don't have to watch your back because somebody will try to steal something from your car while you are swimming, where you don't see annoying people asking you for money, no annoying music and absolute silence, etc, etc. And then ask yourself, why some people here post that some of DR beaches are the best in the Caribbean. The only people who can buy that bullshlt are the ones who have never seen any better. Or, as I said before, you are posting here 24/7 to convince yourselves that you live in a paradise and not in a shlithole, some kind of a group therapy for 65+ year olds?

You make some good points however I'm talking about beaches for swimming.

If you feel that way, why post here then? Let us continue our "group therapy for 65+ year olds" and don't post, move on. Honestly your negative posts are getting old.

I have been at this beach three times. Water is clean, sand is clean, very few people, and there was a garbage can full of garbage but no garbage in the water or sand. https://gorgeousbeachhouseperchedrightovertheocean.touext.com/

IMO people like certain beaches for different reasons. What I like, you may not like, etc. The good thing about the DR, there are quite a few beaches to choose from.

Totally agree. I take my 2 great nephews to Boca Chica beach and it's great for us. I don't have to worry about watching them 24/7 because the breakers keep the water calm. It's expensive for food but these kids don't have anythiing so I just don't care. Do the 236 vendors annoy me? Not any more. A simple shake of the head sends them away. Just not a biggie.
