Public Health Minister Daniel Rivera says that 88% of those admitted to Dominican hospitals for Covid-19 have not been vaccinated. 7% have a single dose. Dr. Rivera says patients are arriving with serious pulmonary issues.
The Ministry of Public Health report #595 indicates 28% of Covid-19 hospital beds are occupied (639 of 2,266 total available), and 45% of the intensive care units for Covid-19 are taken (263 of 587).
