I read an AD about a suite at the above-noted hotel. How is the hotel, the food, the activities and the staff. Any comments are welcome. Thank you

I HAVE NEVER STAYED THERE BUT IT LOOKS NICE. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THE BEACH IS ACROSS THE STREET AND NOT THE BEST OF THE AREA.THE NEXT THING IS THAT YOU REALLY CAN'T WALK TO ANYTHING OF INTEREST. LOOK INTO THE TOWN OF CABARETE ONLY 25 MIN AWAY. THIS TOWN HAS IT ALL AND NO CAR IS NEEDED UNLESS A TOUR IS TO BE DONE.HOPE THIS IS OF SOME HELP.

I will let You know in three weeks as we are going there on the
26/02 and I am hopeing there is bus service on the malecon in
order to get around the area .In my case I could not find anything that could touch the price for what was offered , and I did not want to stay in a typical resort that encourages you to remain on site . Right or wrong who cares , sunshine , food , no
snow , great!!! The only disturbing thing is apparently the casino has been closed and they will bus us to their casino at playa dorado complex , I had so looked forward to blowing My $20.00 at the casino in Puerto Plata, oh well, another of lifes crosses one must bare....and I am sure the resort can do without My major financial imput I'll blow it else where .
