Is the voltage in Punta Cana (Natura Park) same as Puerto Plata? If not, do you know what it is. Thanks.

The entire country is serviced by 110 volt, 60 cycle alternating current, like most countries. Meaning it is uniform through out the country.

Re: Punta Cana and Voltage - I'm confused!

This is what I thought but my travel brochure states Natura Park has 220V electrical current and an adaptor is required. Can anyone who has been there from Canada or the U.S. confirm. Thanks.
