Punta Cana (PUJ) > El Catey/Samana (AZS) by air...

PUJ to AZS daily (???)...

Does anyone out there think this will or could ever happen on a "daily flight" basis ?...

AeroDomca used to fly quite successfully from Santo Domingo's Herrera and then la Isabella to Portillo twice daily (sometimes three flights a day) easily with full flights.

Of course at the time, Portillo was a strip of asphalt and not a true international airport & and there was not the new highway.

It sure would help the peninsula of Samana itself seeing all the flights into PUJ everyday.

Anything is possible but don't see this happening any time in near future. The cost for daily flights is prohibitive and the demand is just not there. A new highway from Punta Cana to the Samana Peninsula would be more feasable.
