Punta Cana weather

What is the weather typically like in Punta Cana mid-February? I have read so many conflicting web-board postings and weather webpages I don't know what to think! Some webpages say it is rainy and cloudy, others say it is constant sun. Any info anyone has is appreciated. Living in Ohio, I am hoping for lots of SUN!

The weather in punta cana averages 90F all the time.

There are few exceptional cloudy or rainy days (as could happen anywhere in the world), but usually is for a morning or afternoon in most of the cases.
